Travel

  • Flight destination: Wichita (city), Kansas (state).
  • Airport: Dwight D. Eisenhower Airport (airport code: ICT).
  • Recommended arrival date: at least 15 days before the program start date

Air transportation to and from the student’s home country is the responsibility of the student/guardians. If you plan to travel back for summer or winter break, look for round trip ticket.

All international students entering the U.S. will be directed to secondary inspection after completing the first level of screening by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). Secondary inspections give CBP access to the Department of Homeland Security’s Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) to confirm students’ eligibility for entry to the U.S.

If you will have connecting flights following your arrival to the U.S., we recommend allowing additional time between flights (minimum 2-3 hours).

If you plan to travel back to your home country during school breaks you will need to get your I-20 endorsed by one of our Friends DSO.
