Percussion Group to perform with Chris Reichmeier

Friends University’s Percussion Group will perform April 6, 2016 at 7:30 p.m. in the Riney Fine Art Center’s Sebits Auditorium.

The Percussion Group will present a concert of music from Brazil and West Africa with guest artist Chris Reichmeier. This will be a fun, high-energy show including samba band music as one sees during a carnival parade, guitar chorus arranged for a marimba quartet and an African hand drum ensemble.  This is some of the most high-energy music in the percussion world and will be an extremely exciting show.

The performance will take place in Sebits Auditorium on the Friends University campus at 2100 W. University Ave., Wichita, Kan. and is free and open to the public.
