Friends University Presents Outdoor Band Concert with Senseney Music Community Band

The Friends University Concert Band combined with the Senseney Music Band will perform on Sunday, May 3, 2015 at 3 p.m.

This is a benefit concert for Youth Horizons and a free will offering will be collected. Guest soloist Earnest Alexander will join the bands. Bring lawn chairs or blankets as no chairs are provided.

The Senseney Music Community Band was formally organized on April 7, 1987. The purpose of the organization is to provide a performance opportunity for the amateur wind and percussion player.

The performance will be held on the Friends University Plaza on the south side of the Riney Fine Arts Building at Friends University Campus at 2100 W. University Ave., Wichita, Kan., and is free and open to the public. The concert will be cancelled in case of inclement weather.
