Rachel Scribner will have artwork on display Oct. 13 to Nov. 14 in the Riney Fine Arts Gallery at Friends University. There will be a Final Friday reception from 5-7p.m. Oct. 31.
Scribner is a local painter who is inspired by Cecily Brown, Cy Twombly, Joan Mitchell and Julie Heffernan. On her blog she states, “I want to make work that is as exquisitely visceral and humanly beautiful as life feels.”
