Friends University will host the 2015 National History Day Kansas District 6 Competition Friday, Feb. 27. Approximately 200 high school and middle school students, together with their teachers and parents, will participate in the competition.
In addition to Friends University professors’ and students’ assistance with the event, more than 30 professors, historians, specialists and teachers will serve as judges from other universities, museums and schools in Wichita. This is the sixth year the Division of Social and Behavioral Sciences at Friends University has hosted the event. This year’s theme is “Leadership and Legacy in History.”
