Friends University Concert Choir will present their Spring Concert “Lost and Found Musical Treasures,” on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at 7:30 p.m.
The Concert Choir’s spring concert will consist of tried and true choral standards mixed with some less familiar pieces. In addition to traditional full choir pieces, both the men and women will be featured separately in pieces written for their specific voice groupings. The choir will also share the stage with the percussion ensemble in a piece written for percussion and choir. Making a special appearance with the choir on a traditional Cameroon processional song will be the Friendship Fields, a group of extraordinary young people with disabilities.
The performance will be held in Sebits Auditorium on Friends University Campus at 2100 W. University Ave., Wichita, Kan. Ticket prices are $16 for adults and $13 for seniors and students.
