The Friends University Symphony of Spring “Take Flight” will perform on Friday, April 24 and Saturday April 25 at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday April 26 at 2 p.m. in Sebits Auditorium.
Join the Singing Quakers as they celebrate the final concert of their 90th anniversary year. Broadway tunes old and new feature shows ranging from Peter Pan, to Songs for a New World, to Wicked. Standards like ‘Fly Me to the Moon’ are blended with favorites like ‘Happy’ from Despicable Me. Enjoy moving ballads, up-tempo dance numbers, and the majesty of full orchestra and chorus in this show for the whole family.
The performance will be held in Sebits Auditorium at the Friends University Campus at 2100 W. University Ave., Wichita, Kan. The concert $16 for adults and $13 for seniors and students.
