Pianist Gila Goldstein to Perform at Friends University

Pianist Gila Goldstein will perform a solo recital on Friday, June 5 at 7:30 p.m. The performance will be held in Sebits Auditorium in the Riney Fine Arts Building.

Ms. Goldstein is the featured artist for the Kansas Music Teachers Association’s annual conference that is being held this year at Friends University. The public is invited to share in this exciting performance opportunity. Ms. Goldstein will also present a free master class that is open to the public on Saturday, June 6 at 10:00 a.m.

Ms. Goldstein has captivated audiences around the world with her unique artistry and soulful interpretations. Her playing has often been described as profound and electrifying. She has performed as a solo artist and a collaborative pianist throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, Asia, Europe and Israel. A Board member of the American Liszt Society (ALS), Ms. Goldstein is a frequent guest performer at the ALS annual festivals in the USA and Canada.

The performance will be held in Sebits Auditorium at the Friends University Campus at 2100 W. University Ave., Wichita, Kan. The concert $7 for adults and $3 students and tickets will be available at the door.
