A variety of ghosts, goblins, fairy princesses, superheroes and more will make their way to the annual Trick-or-Treat Off the Street event at Friends University from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Oct. 29. The event starts at Friends Village, 628 S. Hiram Ave.
Children 12 and younger accompanied by their guardians will play games and collect candy throughout the University’s residence halls. A map of doors to knock on will be provided at the event.
“Our students love to interact with the children, and it’s a safe way for children to have a trick-or-treat experience,” said Brett McLaughlin, coordinator of residence life for Friends University. “We also have other activities throughout our facilities that children can enjoy. We typically host around 300 children, so we’re looking for a nice turnout this year as well.”
Friends University, a Christian University of Quaker heritage, equips students to honor God and serve others by integrating their intellectual, spiritual and professional lives.
