Friends University Tower Wind Quintet will perform Monday, March 28, 2016, at 7:30 p.m. in Sebits Auditorium.
The Friends University Tower Wind Quintet, comprised of faculty members Amy Hoffman, Rachelle Goter, Cindy Thompson, Kimme Whittemore and Denise Kintzel, will be presenting its 15th annual recital. The performance will include works by Dmitri Shostakovich, Astor Piazzolla, Franz Danzi, and Malcolm Arnold.

This year, the quintet will be joined by the Friends University faculty brass quintet – Gary Leopold, Dana Hamant, Steve Slater, John Taylor and Janis Danders on French horn. They will be performing Robert Washburn’s Concertino for Wind and Brass Quintets conducted by Brian Hoffman.
The performance will take place in Sebits Auditorium in the Riney Fine Arts Center on Friends University Campus at 2100 W. University Ave., Wichita, Kan. It is free and open to the public.
