Friends University’s online Master of Business Administration with a Management Information Systems (MIS) concentration ranks No. 29 in the nation among online MBA programs in information and technology as assessed by onlinembatoday.com. The Friends University program is one of only two in Kansas listed among the top 50 programs, and Friends has the highest-ranked Kansas program on the list.
The program provides advanced business knowledge and skills along with a keen focus on information systems, enabling IT professionals to accelerate their career trajectory.
“Our MBA curriculum, faculty and students are among the best in the nation,” said Dr. David Hofmeister, dean of the College of Adult and Professional Studies and the Graduate School. “Recognitions, such as this one for our MIS concentration, demonstrate the superior quality of our MBA programs.”
The ranking was based upon the estimated tuition cost, accreditation, PayScale early career salary, prestige and overall graduation rates.
Friends University offers two types of MBA degrees—a Professional MBA and a Global MBA. Both programs offer the MIS concentration, including an online and an on-campus format, and do not require the GRE/GMAT for entrance.
The MIS concentration brings like-minded students together through a series of four courses to gain the expertise to manage the personnel, systems and information that create today’s business environments.
