The Friends University Sinfonietta Orchestra, formally known as the Chamber Orchestra, will present its fall concert Thursday, Nov. 15, at 7:30 p.m. in Sebits Auditorium, Riney Fine Arts Center.
The concert will feature the talented violinist Dr. Joan Griffing, Tim and Gail Buchanan Endowed Chair of the Division of Fine Arts at Friends University.
“We are so excited to have Dr. Joan Griffing join us for our first concert of the year. Her mastery on the violin is evident, and she brings so much to the Wichita community,” said Sinfonietta Director Kay Buskirk.
Tickets are free, and the concert is open to the public. Guests are invited to stay for the free reception following the concert.
