Friends University will be hosting a Chili Cook-off Feb. 6 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Garvey P.E. Center Multipurpose Room. Faculty, staff and student groups will be offering chili tastings from booths that are decorated in a variety of themes.
In addition to the campus community (faculty, staff, students), the Delano neighborhood and the greater Wichita community are invited to attend. Cost for the event will be $5 per person. Friends University students with a meal plan can use their plan to cover the cost.
Attendees can also step next door to Garvey Gymnasium to cheer on the women’s and men’s basketball teams who will be playing against Bethany College. The women play at 6 p.m. and the men play at 8 p.m.
