Wichita, KS- Friends University will host a Final Friday reception featuring Kansas K-12 art school teachers. The reception will take place in the Riney Fine Arts Gallery in Riney Fine Arts Center Feb. 22 from 5-7 p.m. It is free and open to the public.
“Friends University wanted to have an event that supported art educators and retirees from across the state. It is exciting that the public will have the opportunity to support Kansas teachers by attending the exhibit and purchasing artwork from these talented artists.” said Karen Scroggins, assistant professor of graphic arts, director of visual arts program and curator for the show.
The art will be on display through March 23.
