Wichita, KS – Continuing the long-held tradition of featuring and honoring graduating seniors, the Friends University Jazz Bands and jazz department will present Senior Jazz Night. The concert will take place Friday, April 5, at 7:30 p.m. in Sebits Auditorium in Riney Fine Arts Center.
“This program is a great opportunity to showcase and recognize all the accomplishments of the graduating seniors,” said Lisa Hittle, jazz director.
Six seniors will be featured in vocal and instrumental arrangements including Charles Glover, Elyssa Day, Nathaniel Wheately, Isaac Penner, Blaine Martin and Samantha Borgerson.
Tickets for adults are $6; students and seniors are $3. Tickets can be purchased by calling Friends University at 316-295-5677. The performance will take place in Sebits Auditorium in Riney Fine Arts Center on the Friends University campus at 2100 W. University Ave., Wichita, Kan.
