Friends University to recognize 2019 graduates May 11

Friends University will honor approximately 525 students at this year’s Commencement Ceremony this coming Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 2 p.m. in INTRUST Bank Arena. The ceremony will recognize graduates from the university’s Wichita and Overland Park sites as well as online graduates.

Jim Nagy, a 1997 Friends University graduate, will give the Commencement address. Nagy is the executive vice president of GM Financial-International Operations. Nagy has been employed by General Motors for more than 38 years and has held various leadership positions on multiple continents. He also serves on the Friends University Board of Trustees.
