Friends University will recognize Constitution Day by hosting former Kansas Governor, Jeff Colyer.
Dr. Colyer served as the 47th governor of Kansas, after seven years as lieutenant governor in the Brownback administration. The former governor has degrees from Georgetown University, Cambridge University in England, and the University of Kansas School of Medicine. The topic of his address will be: “Appreciating Our Constitution.”
The Constitution Day event will be held Monday, September 16 at 7 p.m. in the Friends University Alumni Auditorium located in the Davis Building.
This event is free and open to the public.
