Wichita, Kan. – Friends University is pleased to announce the annual Christmas Candlelight Concert at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 6-7 and at 2 p.m. Dec. 8 in Sebits Auditorium in Riney Fine Arts Center.
Music through the ages will be presented by the Friends University choral ensembles: Singing Quakers, Concert Choir, Chamber Choir, Jazz Vocal Ensemble and the majesty of the combined ensembles (150 voices).
Herald in the Christmas season with traditional audience carols and holiday favorites including “O Holy Night.” Welcoming our guests as they arrive will be the Friends University Flute Choir, providing festive music in the art gallery.
“Christmas Candlelight is a concert loved by the community for a good reason. It perfectly embodies the joy and celebration of the coming season,” said sophomore soprano, Alison Parker (Jazz Vocal Ensemble and Singing Quakers).
Ticket prices are $16 for adults and $12 for students and seniors (60+). The performance will take place in Sebits Auditorium in Riney Fine Arts Center on the Friends University campus at 2100 W. University Ave., Wichita, Kan.
