Friends University announces it has once again been named as a 2020-2021 Military Friendly School. This designation provides a comprehensive guide for veterans and their families using data sources from federal agencies and proprietary survey information from participating organizations.
Institutions earning the Military Friendly School designation are evaluated using both public data sources and responses from a proprietary survey completed by the school. To see Friends University’s page on the Military Friendly site, visit https://www.militaryfriendly.com/friends-university/.
Friends University also offers their adult bachelor’s degree programs at $250 per credit hour to military personnel and their spouses. This matches the amount of military assistance paid per credit hour to eligible members of the Air Force, Army, Navy, Marines and Coast Guard.
The discount applies to current, retired and honorably discharged military and Kansas Army and Air National Guard as a thank you for their service.
“We are very pleased to offer this discount and to once again be included on the Military Friendly list,” said Deb Stockman, vice president of enrollment management. “Friends continues to place more emphasis on better serving our military service members’ and veterans’ educational needs. They have done so much for our country that they deserve the opportunity to earn an education at a private, faith-based university.”
