Wichita, Kan. – The Friends University Fine Arts program is excited to announce dates for the 2020-2021 Scholarship Audition & Portfolio Review Days. The events will take place Nov. 20, Jan. 23, Feb. 15 and March 26.
These events, formerly known as Showcase Days, allow high school students to submit auditions and portfolios related to music, theatre, dance, visual arts and communications with the potential to earn scholarships from Friends University.
“We invite anyone interested in pursuing the arts to join us! Besides auditioning for scholarships, attendees get the opportunity to attend classes, observe rehearsals and talk with current students and faculty,” said Dr. Joan Griffing, Tim and Gail Buchanan endowed chair of the division of fine arts.
These events will take place in-person on the Friends University campus with COVID-19 mitigation safety protocols in place. Online attendance is available as an option as well.
