Wichita, KS – The Friends University Musical Theatre Workshop class will present its end of the semester performance titled “Fall Musical Showcase” on the Friends University Fine Arts Facebook page on Nov. 22.
Music Theatre scenes will include the following shows: Kinky Boots, Guys and Dolls, Mean Girls, Little Night Music, Company, Matilda, Be More Chill and more!
Directing the performance is new Assistant Professor of Music Theatre and Dance, Sheldon Mba.
“This semester, the focus was on reconnecting with ourselves in order to build truthful characters and create honest moments within the text and music,” said Mba. “Each selection addresses a situation in our lives where we either have to face a difficult truth, express our own truth or fight for the truth.”
