Wichita, Kan.– Friends University will host a First Friday gallery reception for K – 12 art teachers from Wichita and the surrounding area, Feb. 4 from 5-7 p.m. The in-person reception will take place in the Riney Fine Arts Gallery on the Friends University campus. Light refreshments will be served.
The exhibit is titled The Art of Teaching and will continue to be a recurring show every other year.
“We are so happy to have K-12 Art Teachers back in the gallery to highlight their talent and dedication to their craft,” said gallery coordinator, Lauren Miller.
The Art of Teaching will be on display in the Riney Fine Arts Gallery until Feb. 26 and online at rineygallery.com.
The exhibit is sponsored in part by KMUW, Wichita’s National Public Radio member station.
