Singing Quakers to present Feelin’ Alright, a night of Broadway, pop, and Disney at Symphony of Spring

Wichita, KS – The Friends University Singing Quakers will present the Symphony of Spring concert featuring the theme Feelin’ Alright, April 22-24. The show has been a Wichita favorite for more than 50 years.

Disney favorites, pop standards and Broadway tunes from around the world will be featured from shows ranging from Fiddler on the Roof, The Phantom of the Opera and The Music Man, to Moana, The Princess and the Frog, Monster’s Inc., and more. Moving ballads, up-tempo dance numbers, orchestra and a full chorus make this a hit for the whole family.

“There is a reason why Symphony of Spring is our most popular performance. I hope many will come clap their hands, stomp their feet and dance along in their seats,” said Dr. Rayvon T.J .Moore, Singing Quaker Conductor. “You do not want to miss this show!”

The performances will run Friday and Saturday, April 22-23, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, April 24, at 2 p.m. in Sebits Auditorium, Riney Fine Arts Center on the Friends University campus at 2100 W. University Ave., Wichita, Kan.

Tickets for adults are $16; children, students and seniors are $13. Tickets can be purchased by calling Friends University at 316-295-5677 or visiting friends.edu/finearts.
