Wichita, Kan.– Friends University will host a First Friday gallery reception for artist, Tarzia Khan, Sept. 2 from 5-7 p.m. The in-person reception will take place in the Riney Fine Arts Gallery on the Friends University campus. Light refreshments will be served.
The exhibit is titled Wildcats and Water. “I’ve painted many different subjects in many different styles, but I’ve found that I love painting wildlife and water more than almost anything else. Naturally I thought that my first solo exhibition should showcase both,” Khan said.
Every painting in the show was created with acrylics or oil in the last twelve months.
Wildcats and Water will be on display in the Riney Fine Arts Gallery until Oct. 1 and online at rineygallery.com.
The exhibit is sponsored in part by KMUW, Wichita’s National Public Radio member station.
