Wichita, KS- Friends University’s Fine Arts faculty members will present a fanfare of performances as well showcase their artwork Thursday, Sept. 8, at 7:30 p.m. in Sebits Auditorium in the Riney Fine Arts Center.
The exhibit and show are an opportunity for the community to experience the creative and diverse faculty members in Friends University’s Division of Fine Arts. Talented professors will share music, dance and showcase visual arts as they inspire students and the public alike.
Debuts from several new faculty are sure to be a highlight. One to note will be the new Tim & Gail Buchanan Division Chair of Fine Arts, Dr. Nathanael May, on the piano playing Notturno by Ottorino Resphigi.
Other featured performances include vocal duets, a dance performance, spoken word, a wind quintet and much more.
The performance is free and no tickets are required. It will take place in Sebits Auditorium in Riney Fine Arts Center on the Friends University campus at 2100 W. University Ave., Wichita, Kan.
