Charleen Ayers has served on the faculty as professor of voice since 1984. She has combined her teaching career with an active career as a performer. Ayers has made solo appearances with over 80 symphony orchestras nationwide and has an impressive list of musical theatre and opera credits. She was a national finalist in the National Association of Teachers of Singing Artists Awards and was a winner of the regional Metropolitan Opera Auditions.
