Matt Koehn is a Wichita based saxophonist with a wide variety of performance experience. Jazz, rock, funk, and classical styles are all musical equals in his repertoire. Not only has he performed with national acts including the Temptations and the Funk Brothers but he also has performed at the North American Saxophone Alliance biennial conference, the World Saxophone Conference, and the Society of Composers National Conference. He received a Bachelor of Music Education in 1997, a Bachelor of Music Performance in 1998, and Master of Music Performance degree in 2002 all from Wichita State University and is currently the saxophone instructor at Butler Community College and Friends University.
