Reverend Dr. Steven Blasdel graduated from Wichita State University in 1974 with a degree in Speech (Theater). He earned a Masters in Church Music from Western Conservative Baptist Seminary and then followed that with a professional Doctorate in Worship Studies from The Institute for Worship Studies. He has been a minister of music in Kansas and Colorado for over 35 years and is a songwriter and arranger. Several of his songs, arrangements, and orchestrations have been used by the Miss Kansas Pageant, Singing Quakers, Chapel of the Air, and other soloists, choirs, and churches. He and Cindy live in Wichita and have 3 grown children and 7 grandchildren. He has worked at Friends University since 2005.
