Wichita, Kan. – Friends University Theatre and Music Theatre majors will each present their own one-act plays to be performed together on April 1-2 at 7 p.m. at the Studio Theater (D6).
A variety of shows will be presented from serious and dramatic to light and comical. Student directors are tasked to help actors build character, work with plot development, create staging, decide technical needs and more.
“Directing is a very enlightening and rewarding experience,” said Music Theatre Major
and director, Brandon Rose. “Instead of being in shows, you can really understand the importance and hard work of being a director and what it takes to put together a great show.”

Student Directed One-Act Plays will take place in the Studio Theater (D6) inside Friends University’s Riney Fine Arts Center, located at 2100 W. University Ave., Wichita, Kan.
